Like all bloggers , you know when you start this journey but not when it ends.
For a while now I´ve dedicated some time to look at things with a different perspective, with a leanstartup approach. ( LS )
The LS is a way to tackle projects, so that you are aware that the greatest value of what you offer you get because you have proven that the market or counterparty wants it . It's as basic as query, look what I have , do you like it? when I finish it do you want it?all this before you start doing anything.
LS drinks from the inspiration of many authors and these in turn from other, together they have reached this point where we are (see publication date of the post) where it seems that LS is big. Eric, Alex, Steve, Ash, Simon , Brant and many others have written their experiences and many of us have read and assimilated the successes and failures described , but the biggest thing is that we incorporate our own experiences and squirm and adapt it.
Lean Startup Spain LSE is a proof of this, there you will see how far we've come .
I include myself as an active part of the community and not as leanstartup book co - participant.Yet .
But although we have come far , leanstartup is in transition and still has a long journey. In the following posts I will tell you a branch of the approach, outside the usual routes, that put the LS on the main street of entrepreneurial projects, investment, growth, analytics, branding, etc ... I relocate to a human approach , using it to give the people who are actively seeking employment a new way to return to the wheel of the productive world . that is, finding a job!
If your interest is to find work, as I said at the outset, this is not a magic cure, and you will not find a job in 14 days, you don´t need to find your inner you, great if you do, but since you have more free time than you want , if you just get with it, It might be worth the time. It is your call.
What you will do is, learn.
LS is a long medium term approach to do things, because it requires you to do some iterations ( do some things several times) learn from them, and bring that knowledge back to next iteration .. so until you fit into a job. Solution - Market fit. ;-)
Before you can sell your personal value proposition you must know the market you are heading much more than you think you know.
Because LS are three things fundamentally DO and MEASURE and LEARN.
Why this is more likely to succeed than other approaches?
It's simple . When you send a resume to a job, what happens?
you've done something , it's true ... but besides measuring the infinite time between your submission and the never incoming call , did you learn anything? . The answer is clearly no . You'll get pissed .
Leanstartup job search is for you seeking a way of doing things which makes the second iteration better than the last, so that eventually your last iteration is flabergasting! . And if you do not stunn your opposite, your self-esteem will boost so much that possibly you ´ll begin to take on the world .
See you ...
PD: I´ve tried this out with 10 persons, after 3 months 7 of them have a job. ( I am sorry that not thounsends have! yet)-- but after all this is another experiment..
